Our Jess

The Heartbeat of Every Moment
There are no perfect words that can ever truly capture who Jess was—no sentence long enough, no paragraph powerful enough. But what we can do is try to share the essence of his spirit: the joy he gave, the lives he touched, and the way he lit up every space he walked into. Jess didn’t just live—he lived out loud. Every day was an adventure waiting to happen, and Jess made sure no moment ever went to waste. Whether it was a school night or he had to be up early the next morning, he was the first to say, "Let’s just go. Let’s go to the movies, drive some go karts, do something." He turned the ordinary into the unforgettable and made you feel lucky just to be part of it. Jess was the kind of person who made life feel exciting simply by being around. He found joy in the simplest moments—a late-night drive blasting our favorite music, a last-minute weekend plan, a quick hangout—and made it feel like the most important thing in the world. Spontaneity was his superpower. Jess could turn a quiet evening into a memory you’d never forget.
Passion, Purpose, and a Lot of Horsepower
When it came to passions, cars were everything. Whether it was his Nissan 350Z or his brand new Audi, Jess was constantly working on his rides, always looking for new ways to make the engine rev louder or the body look cooler with even a showroom finish shine. He loved to make heads turn when he drove down a street. Every weekend meant a new car project, a new modification, a new dream brought to life with his own two hands. But Jess wasn’t just about horsepower—he was about heart. He was a young entrepreneur, building a business from the ground up. His grass-cutting company, Grass Busters, was more than just a hustle: it was his way of giving back. He helped countless families, especially the elderly, keeping their yards clean and beautiful, always showing up with a smile. His clients didn’t just see him as the guy mowing the lawn—they saw him as part of their lives, a spark of kindness and consistency that made a difference in the community.
Family First, Always
Family meant everything to Jess. His love for them was constant, loud, and never hidden. He was the first to call every weekend, asking “What’s cooking?”—his way of saying, “Let’s be together.” He loved family parties, cousin hangouts, long talks, and quick meetups. If you were important to Jess, you knew it—and you felt it, every single day. He spent weekends with his Paw and brothers going to Six Flags and combing through pawn shops for hidden gems, sharing laughs and memories with every weekend. He loved Happy hour Taco Bell runs with his mom—Baja Blasts Freezies in hand, and smiles on their faces. Jess had a way of turning routine errands into treasured traditions. And when he craved butter chicken and naan, he wouldn’t stop calling until someone agreed to go with him. His excitement was infectious. He wanted everyone to be part of the things he loved because sharing joy was how he expressed love.

A Love Full of Adventure
He was incredibly close to his girlfriend, and every day with her was a new plan, a new adventure. They were always dreaming, always planning something fun to do together—and more often than not, inviting others along. Jess believed life was meant to be shared. Whether it was family parties, gym sessions, or just hanging out, he was the one texting, calling, showing up, making sure no one felt left out. The gym was another home to him. He would work out for hours with his brothers Tommy and Gary and his uncle Azhar, chasing the perfect pump and always snapping a pic afterward. But the gym wasn’t just about fitness—it was about bonding. It was about pushing each other, laughing through the soreness, and building something stronger together.

A Protector Through and Through
Jess wasn’t just fun—he was safe. He had a sixth sense for when someone was down and a gift for bringing them back up. He would ask his cousins about the latest gossip and would join in helping them solve what needing solving. He plays lended an ear and no problem was insignificant. He was truly selfless. He gave the best hugs—the kind that wrapped around you like a safety net, and he never ended a phone call without saying “I love you,” because he knew how much those words mattered. Jess made your world feel just a little more steady just by being in it. He was consistent, loyal, and always present in the ways that counted most.

A Light That Still Shines
His spirit lives in the little things: in a spontaneous drive, in the scent of butter chicken, in a laugh that lifts a heavy room, in the sound of lawnmowers and the warmth of someone who just shows up. He was more than just a son, a brother, a cousin, a boyfriend, or a friend. Jess was a light, a protector, a joy-spreader, a builder, a dreamer—and he still is. No one will ever replace him. And no one should. Because there will never be another Jess. But in every laugh shared, every car engine revved, every family gathering, every walk with Scooby, and every moment where love is chosen over fear—he is there. And always will be.
